I didn’t consider health, safety while sharing petrol as souvenir, Chidinma Ogbulu apologises to Sanwo-Olu

Dr Pearl Chidinma Ogbulu, who shared petrol as souvenir at her event has apologised to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for her actions.

In a letter she personally signed, Ogbulu said she felt ashamed that she didn’t consider the health and safety of her guests.

“I acknowledge the error in judgment of sharing fuel as souvenir and I feel ashamed that my intent did not consider the health and safety of my guests- for this sir, I apologise and I accept responsibility for this grave error of judgment,” she said.

“The petrol was actually kept outside and shared amongst people who hadn’t a way of going back home and how it got into the hall is something I cannot tell or had control over.

She also pleased with the govenor to temper justice with mercy.

“I stand as a daughter of the state who in the spirit of showing concern in the midst of fuel scarcity made a mistake and I thank God that no casualty was recorded,” she added.
