I prefer to return to farm than support Tinubu to be President – Ojudu

Political Adviser in the office of the Vice President, Senator Babafemi Ojudu has declared that he would return to his farm rather than support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to be President of Nigeria.

In a short video that is trending on social media, Ojudu vowed never to support the All Progressives Congress National Leader even if President Muhammadu Buhari endorsed him as the preferred candidate for the party.

The one term Senator from Ekiti State told Chude Jideonwo in the television interview that as a matter of his principle, he does not work for persons he does not believe in.

“Mark it down today. If President Buhari endorsed him as APC candidate I will return to my farm. I can’t work with you and for you if I don’t believe in you. I can not support him to be President. That is me,” Ojudu said in the short video.

It would be recalled that Ojudu has made earlier strong opposition to the Presidential ambition of Tinubu in an article that was widely circulated late last year where he declared Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as his preferred choice.

Ojudu has been travelling across the country of recent meeting various groups and traditional rulers to seek their support for the yet-to-declared Presidential ambition of the Vice President.
