I will fully support Atiku, says Wike
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike says he will fully support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Wike said this in a post on this Facebook page on Monday.
“I made a vow to the Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria that I will support whoever emerges from the #PDPPresidentialPrimaries and i am not going to go back on my word.
“We cannot abandon the PDP, we will be fully supporting Atiku Abubakar,” Wike wrote.
WesternPost had earlier reported that Atiku paid a visit to Wike in his Abuja residence after winning the party’s ticket.
Atiku polled 371 votes to defeat Wike who had 237 votes in the PDP presidential primaries held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday.
