I won’t campaign for Peter Obi – Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has declared that despite publicly endorsing Labour Party Presidential Candidate Peter Obi, he won’t campaign for him.
Obasanjo had in a letter he wrote to Nigerian youth, asked them to vote Obi in next month’s presidential election, saying he was the best of all the candidates.
But speaking on his decision not to campaign for the former Anambra State governor, Obasanjo said he was not in any political party, so couldn’t join any campaign.
He said he only did what he did for the good of the country by writing and endorsing Obi.
Obasanjo said, “I am not in any campaign train. I’ve used benefit of my experience and I’ve put plainly.
“I do not belong to any political party. I will not join any campaign train. I’ve said what is best for the country”.
