Ibadan stampede: Nigeria firstlady, Oluremi Tinubu sympathises with Oyo govt, families of late minors

Nigeria’s First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed deep condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde and the people of Oyo State following a tragic incident on Wednesday, in which several children lost their lives in a stampede.

In her message she signed on Thursday, the first lady sympathised saying, “I condole with His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, and the people of Oyo State over this heartbreaking tragedy. My thoughts are with the families, friends, and loved ones of the victims.”

The First Lady also extended her well wishes to those still recovering in hospital, praying for their swift recovery and complete healing.

“May the Lord grant peace to Oyo State, comfort to the bereaved families, and strength to all those grieving during this difficult time,” she added.
