Ibadan: Tragedy as three siblings, four others die in separate road accidents

Three siblings and four other persons died on Wednesday in separate road accidents in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The three siblings were crushed to death along the Celica-Kukumoda area of the Ife/Ibadan Expressway by a truck loaded with goods, reportedly due to brake failure. The other four victims were confirmed dead in a separate accident that occurred at the Idi-Ori end of the Oyo Expressway.

The three siblings were said to be on their way to school when the tragic incident occurred.

Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have taken the remains of the deceased to a nearby hospital.

Those injured in the second accident at Idi-Ori are receiving treatment at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
