IGP Disu redeploys commissioners of police nationwide (full list)

The inspector general of police, IGP Olatunji Disu, has ordered the redeployment of commissioners of police (CPs) across various formations in Nigeria.

According to sources, the redeployments were communicated through a wireless message from the Office of the Force Secretary, stating that the postings are effective immediately.

The move follows a previous redeployment of assistant inspectors general of police (AIGs) earlier this month. The reshuffle affects CPs leading key departments and commands, including the Nigerian Police Force National Central Criminal Command (NPF-NCCC) in Abuja, the special protection unit at the force headquarters, and INTERPOL.
