IGP orders Portable’s arrest over claims on One Million boys

The Inspector General of Police has ordered the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to arrest and probe star musician, Habeeb Okikiola (Portable), over his claims that he founded cult groups in Lagos.

In a now viral video, Portable spoke on how he founded One Million Boys, a cult group that has been terrorising parts of Lagos State, especially Ikorodu, Bariga, Somolu and Surulere.

In a press statement signed by Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, the Inspector General stated that Lagos State Police Command should investigate and prosecute the singer for his indicting statement.

The statement reads:

“Sequel to the trending video of one Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable where he claimed to have formed the One-Million Boys cult group terrorising some parts of Lagos State, the IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action.

“This directive is premised on the continuous effort of the Nigeria Police Force to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to decimate their activities and restore sanity to our society.”
