The Olojo Festival is celebrated annually in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
During the festival, the Ooni goes into a seven-day seclusion to engage in spiritual reflection, communion with the ancestors, and intercession for his people.
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has come out of seclusion for this year’s festival and will lead a royal procession of chiefs and priests during which the monarch will perform traditional rites.
