I’m still in law school, Pastor Funke Adejumo clarifies

The co-founder of Agape Christian Ministries, Pastor Funke Felix-Adejumo, has dismissed reports claiming she has graduated from the Nigerian Law School, clarifying that she is still a student.
The 63-year-old cleric, who recently made headlines after sharing her experience as an undergraduate law student at Elizade University, debunked reports from some blogs claiming she had graduated following the 2026 Call to Bar ceremonies.
In a statement posted on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Adejumo’s management team said it appreciated those celebrating her educational journey but stressed that reports of her graduation were incorrect.
“We wish to respectfully clarify that the circulated report claiming that Bishop Olufunke Felix-Adejumo has completed the Nigerian Law School at the age of 63 is incorrect. Bishop Olufunke Felix-Adejumo has not graduated from the Nigerian Law School, nor has she completed her undergraduate law programme,” the statement said.
The management team explained that the photograph used in the viral reports was a throwback image from her matriculation ceremony, not a graduation or completion ceremony as claimed.
It urged the public to verify information before sharing it to prevent the spread of misinformation.
The statement added that Adejumo remains committed to her academic journey and is still pursuing her law degree with dedication and excellence.
