In last days of his tenure, Fayemi signs 5 bills into law in Ekiti

With just about a week to the end of his tenure as Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has signed five bills that will advance good governance and orderly society.
Fayemi while signing the bills in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, noted that the new laws will improve the economy of the state, knowledge production and strengthen the governance system to produce better outcomes.
“I was pleased to sign into law five bills that reaffirm the commitment of our administration to strengthen the governance system, knowledge production, and the economy of our dear state.
“The newly signed laws are: Ekiti State Audit Service Commission (Second Amendment) Law 2022; Ekiti Knowledge Zone Authority Law 2022; Ekiti State Economic Development Council (First Amendment) Law 2022; Creation of three Local Council Development Areas in Ekiti State Law 2022; and Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan Ekiti Law 2022,” he said.
