INEC commiserates with Oba Adeyemi’s families, Oyo kingdom, others

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Oyo State has commiserated with the state traditional council, the Oyomesi and immediate family of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 111, who joined his ancestors on Friday.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in the state, Dr Mutiu Agboke, in a statement described the demise of the monarch as a big loss to the state and in particular, the electoral management body (INEC).
Dr. Agbke noted further that, he would personally miss the words of wisdom of the late Kabiyesi, saying that he was supportive and had spearheaded various electoral activities of the Commission in the state, especially in disseminating various sensitization programmes at the grassroots level.
