INEC to conduct by-elections in Ibadan North, other constituencies August 16

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that it will conduct by-elections for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency and other affected constituencies on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, made the announcement during a consultative meeting with political parties in Abuja on Thursday.
The by-elections are being organised to fill vacant seats in the National and State Assemblies following resignations, deaths, or court annulments.
