Nigerian actresses Ini Edo and Tonto Dikeh were among the Nigerian celebrities spotted at the lavish 40th birthday celebration of Ghanaian millionaire Richard Nii-Armah Quaye.
The celebration turned the Ghanaian airport into a hub of activity as dignitaries and celebrities from around the world arrived for the extravagant event.
However, Ini Edo made headlines for attending the high-profile party, sparking controversy online. Many social media users criticized her for traveling out of the country to celebrate barely 24 hours after her father’s burial in Akwa Ibom State.

Ini Edo was joined by other entertainment figures, including Joselyn Dumas, Toke Makinwa, and Swanky Jerry, at the event on March 22, 2025, which momentarily brought Ghana to a standstill.
The highlight of the night was a performance by Nigerian superstar Davido, who entertained guests at the exclusive soirée.
Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, born on March 21, 1985, is a Ghanaian entrepreneur and the founder and board chairman of Bills, formerly known as Quick Angels Limited/Quick Credit and Investment Micro-Credit Limited.
