Fans of Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele have been buzzing with questions about her marital status and the reason she is seen wearing a perceived wedding band.

An X user recently shared their opinion, suggesting that the actress should stop wearing the ring, claiming it might deter potential suitors.

“Funke, it’s unwise to still wear a ring on your marriage finger knowing you’re divorced. Even worse, it might chase away your future husband. Little things count now that you’re still famous, hot, and rich. Mind your public acts. Remove the ring now. You need a man in your life ASAP. Act fast. Be wise,” the user wrote.

Responding to the comment, the Jenifa star dismissed the concern, emphasizing that her priority lies in financial stability.
“I need money! That’s the koko,” she replied.

Funke Akindele has been married and divorced twice. Her first marriage was to Otunba Kehinde Oloyede, the current executive chairman of Oshodi/Isolo LGA, on May 26, 2012. Her second marriage was to JJC Skillz.
