Izzy Ogbeide, Etinosa Idemudia escalate feud over proposed boxing match
By Anthonia Okonkwo
A heated exchange between social media personality Izzy Ogbeide and Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has escalated, with the pair reportedly agreeing to a face-to-face confrontation scheduled for 4 p.m. today, at Sefton Park in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
The dispute began after Izzy shared a video containing screenshots of private messages allegedly sent by Etinosa. In the messages, the actress accused Izzy of repeatedly making videos about her without provocation and challenged her to choose a location, date and time for a physical confrontation.
Etinosa reportedly said Izzy had been making videos about her since 2025, adding that she was tired of remaining silent. She challenged the social media personality to meet her in person and used derogatory remarks during their exchange.
In response, Izzy maintained that her earlier commentary concerned an outfit made by Etinosa’s tailor rather than an attack on the actress. She questioned why Etinosa was reacting to a video from the previous year and accused her of initiating contact through direct messages.
Meanwhile, reality TV star Phyna was also drawn into the dispute. Izzy questioned why Etinosa had not accepted Phyna’s previous boxing challenge, suggesting that the actress’s clash with her was attracting attention. Etinosa, however, referenced Phyna in her response, saying she wanted to fight Izzy so the reality TV star would know what was coming for her.
In another video, Etinosa dismissed the prospect of engaging in prolonged online arguments with someone she described as illiterate. She reiterated her challenge to Izzy and made further insulting remarks while referring to Phyna and the proposed confrontation.
Furthermore, Izzy took the dispute to TikTok, where she shared AI-generated images depicting the proposed boxing match. She initially suggested 1 p.m. for the encounter, but Etinosa proposed 4 p.m., a time Izzy reportedly accepted.
The exchange has continued to attract attention on social media, with users reacting to the proposed confrontation. However, it remains unclear whether the two women will follow through with the reported arrangement at Sefton Park.
