Jamoh bows out of NIMASA, hands over to Ofordile

The tenure of Dr Bashir Jamoh as the Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has come to an end on Sunday 10th of March 2024.

Even though the Presidency seems undecided yet on who to succeed him, reliable sources informed WesternPost that Jamoh would be handing over to the Executive Director in charge of Finance and Administration, Chudi Ofordile who would act until a substantive DG is named by President Bola Tinubu.

WesternPost reports that Jamoh was appointed as Director General of NIMASA on 10th of March 2020 by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

He replaced Dr Dakuku Peterside.

Jamoh is the father-inlaw of former President Muhammadu Buhari ‘s nephew, Sabiu Tunde.
