Jaywon calls out Lagos hotel as JoEl hospitalized

Nigerian singer-songwriter Jaywon has called out the management of a Lagos hotel over injuries sustained by his colleague, JoEl.

Jaywon took to social media to criticize the hotel, identified as ST Hotel in the Akinpelu area of Oshodi, Lagos, for allegedly mistreating JoEl, who was scheduled to perform at an event organized by the hotel.

A viral video on social media shows JoEl walking with the aid of crutches, with his leg bandaged, following an incident at the hotel premises.

While the hotel’s management has yet to respond to the allegations, JoEl’s team confirmed that the singer is currently receiving treatment.

His management also assured the public that a detailed statement on what transpired at the hotel would be released soon.

Jaywon and JoEl share a long-standing friendship from their time at Kennis Music. While Jaywon moved on after his contract expired, JoEl remains signed to the label.
