JUST IN: Canada Police arrests Amaka Sonnberger over threats to poison Yoruba, Edo people

The Toronto Police has announced the arrest of Amaka Sonnberger, over her alleged comments of hate speech.
In a statement posted on the website of the Toronto Police Service, Sonnberger, 46, was arrested on Sunday.
The statement also said she has been charged with Uttering Threats and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, 2201 Finch Avenue West on Monday, September 2nd, 2024, at 10:00 am in courtroom 107 .
Sonnberger had been accused of making comments online specifically on Tik Tok on or about August 25, 2024, threatening death to specific members of the Nigerian community.
