JUST IN: Electrician electrocuted in Ondo community

An electrician, popularly known as Tunde, has lost his life following a fatal electrocution in Akungba-Akoko, Akoko South-West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon while the technician was attending to a power installation within the community.
Eyewitnesses said the victim was working on an electricity pole near the police station when he suddenly came into contact with a live wire.
The impact reportedly caused him to fall from the pole.
Residents described the deceased as a familiar face in the area, known for his friendly disposition and frequent electrical work.
As of the time of filing this report, the police had yet to release official details on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
