JUST IN: Fire guts popular market in Ibadan

A fire outbreak on Tuesday night razed properties worth millions of naira at the popular Aleshinloye Market in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

WESTERN POST gathered that the cause of the fire remains unclear, but eyewitnesses reported that many traders lost their goods in the inferno.

Confirming the incident, the General Manager of Oyo State Fire Services, Akinyemi Akinyinka, stated that firefighters were deployed to the scene to contain the blaze.
