The source said residents who raised the alarm and attempted to attract help were also attacked by the gunmen during the operation.

In the ensuing chaos, two neighbours were shot, with one sustaining head injuries while the other was hit in the stomach.

Both victims, it was gathered, were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

The attack triggered panic in the area, as residents fled their homes for safety amid fears of further violence.

As of the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of Oladehinde remained unknown, while security agencies were yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
