JUST IN: Man allegedly beheads brother in Ondo

Tension has enveloped the Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State following the gruesome killing of a young man, Daniel, allegedly beheaded by his brother, Emmanuel.

The incident occurred on Monday evening near the Origbara River, triggering fear and confusion across the community.

Although details surrounding the motive remain unclear, residents said the development has left many deeply unsettled.

“Till now, we don’t know what actually transpired between them that could have led him to kill his stepbrother,” one resident said.

Sources within the community disclosed that both the suspect and the deceased are sons of a well-known community police officer, popularly called “Awilo.”

A police source has since confirmed the incident, but no official statement had been released by the Ondo State Police Command at the time of filing this report.
