JUST IN: Obasanjo’s ADC General Jemitola slumps, dies in Abuja
Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s former Aide-de-Camp (ADC), Major General Christopher Jemitola on Thursday slumped and died at the IBB Golf Course in Abuja.
According to family sources, he was rushed to the hospital but could not make ait as he was reportedly declared dead upon arrival by the medical staff.
The late General Jemitola was Obasanjo’s ADC from 2003 to 2007.
Jemitola was at different times, the Corp Commander Nigerian Army Signals, Nigeria’s Defence Adviser to Brazil and Director of Army Public Relations. He also served as the Chief of Policy and Plans (COPP) in the Nigerian Army.
He hailed from Ososo in Akoko Edo Local government area of Edo State.
