JUST IN: Oyo APC Chairman, Omodewu dies in the US

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu has reportedly died in the United States of America.

Omodewu has been in the US since the end of 2023 reportedly receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.

Details about the circumstances surrounding his death are not yet available.

Omodewu became the APC chairman in 2021 and was the commissioner for lands and housing during the administration of ex-governor Abiola Ajimobi.
