JUST IN: President Tinubu returns to Nigeria after working visit to France

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a two-week working visit to France.
The presidential aircraft touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 9:40 p.m. on Monday, where he was received by top government officials and aides.
Welcoming the President were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
Prior to his return, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, had announced the President’s arrival plans on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
According to Onanuga, the visit focused on appraising the administration’s midterm performance, reviewing key reforms, and strategizing ahead of President Tinubu’s second anniversary in office.
