President Bola Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja and resume official duties at the Presidential Villa following the conclusion of the Easter holiday, according to a statement released on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The presidency clarified that President Tinubu, who is currently on a short working visit to Europe, remains actively engaged in governance despite his physical absence. He reportedly departed Paris for London over the weekend and has continued to oversee national affairs remotely.
“His return to Abuja and the resumption of duties at Aso Villa will follow the conclusion of the Easter holiday,” the statement noted.
Onanuga added that the president has maintained constant communication with key government officials and has issued directives on pressing national matters, including security concerns in parts of the country.
Reassuring the public, the presidency emphasized that there is no vacuum in leadership and that the administration continues to function smoothly under President Tinubu’s direction.
