JUST IN: Tinubu approves incorporation of 774 Health Fellows into civil service

President Bola Tinubu has approved the incorporation of 774 newly recruited National Health Fellows into Nigeria’s civil service, a move aimed at strengthening the country’s healthcare workforce.
The announcement was made on Thursday at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja.
The National Health Fellows Programme, led by the Minister of Health, Ali Pate, is designed to address gaps in the health sector by deploying skilled personnel to all 774 local government areas across the country.
Speaking at the event, the minister emphasized that the recruitment aligns with the administration’s broader strategy to enhance healthcare delivery and improve access to quality medical services, particularly at the grassroots level.
