JUST IN: Tinubu meets FIRS Chairman after FCTA seals Abuja office
President Bola Tinubu on Monday held a series of high-level meetings at the State House in Abuja, including a session with Zacch Adedeji, Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
The meeting followed the sealing of the FIRS office in the Zone 5 area of Abuja by officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) over alleged non-payment of ground rent for 25 years.
The FIRS has described the FCTA’s action as “malicious” and “unprofessional,” sparking a public dispute between the two agencies.
