President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians to offer special prayers for the nation’s troops, recognising their sacrifices in the ongoing fight against terrorism and banditry.

Speaking to journalists shortly after observing the Eid prayers at Dodan Barracks in Lagos on Friday, the President emphasised the importance of national unity and compassion, especially during the festive season.

“As we make sacrifices, we should remember to pray and give to those who are very vulnerable,” Tinubu said. “In the spirit of Eid, we must come together as one and be our brother’s keeper.”
