Kagame celebrates 25 years of MTN business in Rwanda

President Paul Kagame has joined his country men and women to celebrate MTN’s 25 years anniversary in Rwanda.

President Kagame praised MTN for taking risk with the country when it decided to invest in the country that was traumatised by a genocidal war where over 1million people which include women and children died within 100 days.

Kagame wrote on his social media pages: “Who else would have found it easy to invest with a country that had just emerged from our tragic history, as we know it. We took risks both of us, you took a risk with us and we took a risk with you, but here, 25 years later I think we can say we are happy. It’s not an understatement, it’s real, it is something we need to celebrate. I have no doubt, we will do even much better in the near future.”
