Kidnapped tipper driver regains freedom

By Boye Oyeyemi –

A tipper driver, Tobi Abdulmalik Oluwatuyi, who was abducted along the Akure–Owo Motorway in Ondo State, has regained his freedom after spending days in captivity.

WESTERN POST had reported that Oluwatuyi was kidnapped on Friday around 6 a.m. while attempting to fix his faulty vehicle on the roadside.

His motor boy, however, escaped the scene and raised the alarm, prompting local residents to mobilise for help.

The owner of the tipper, Monday Ayesoro, confirmed the development, saying Oluwatuyi was released on Monday evening and returned to the same location where he was abducted.
