Kwankwaso commissions NNPP office in Lagos

Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has commissioned the party’s office in Lagos.

The former Kano State Governor commissioned the office located in Ikorodu Road on Thursday

The commissioning ceremony witnessed a large turnout of party supporters including new decampees from other parties.

The Lagos office became the latest for Kwankwaso who has been traversing the length of breadth of the country commissioning party offices.

The NNPP is considered by many as one of the four notable parties as the 2023 presidential election, with the All Progressives Congress, Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party being the other three.

The APC and the PDP are however the two frontrunners.

To the NNPP’s credit, the party remains the only one out of the four not enmeshed in any party controversy towards the presidential election.

Kwankwaso is also the only presidential candidate who has fully kicked off his presidential campaign, travelling round the country.

While the APC is yet to agree on the presidential campaign council and formally commence campaign, the PDP is in crisis as Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and his supporters are refusing to back down on their demands for the resignation of National Chairman Senator Iyorchia Ayu.

WesternPost had also earlier reported that the leadership of the LP is at loggerheads with Presidential Candidate Peter Obi over the composition of the campaign council.
