This was contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Works and Transport Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo in Ilorin on Tuesday.

“We advise that commuters make use of alternative routes in Taiwo Isale, Edun, Obo Road, Niger Road, Opomalu, Centre Igboro, Balogun Fulani, and Bolanta Roads to connect other parts of the Ilorin metropolis while the re-construction is ongoing.

“To effect the smooth commencement of re-construction on these roads, we also advise residents to remove all vehicles on both sides of the construction routes.

“While we acknowledge the inconveniences that commuters and residents may experience during the reconstruction of these roads, we seek cooperation and patience as the government builds a resilient infrastructure and lasting legacy for our beloved State.
