Lagos APC primaries: Voting ends as Chairmanship aspirants’ agents await sorting, counting of votes
The Chairmanship primaries of the Lagos All Progressives Congress (APC) has ended.
The election ended at about 4:20pm with delegates from Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA) were the last to cast their votes.
It would be recalled that the Lagos APC held its Chairmanship primaries at the party’s secretariat at Acme, Ogba-Ikeja.
The 27 delegates from each local government were ushered into the voting hall as 5 local governments chose their candidates on consensus.
As at 12:35pm, Iba Local Council Development Area, Ijede LCDA, Lekki LCDA, Oto-Awori LCDA and Surulere local government delegates were ushered into the voting hall to affirm the consensuship of their candidates.
