Describing the project as an important step toward improving coordination and efficiency in public service delivery in Lagos, Sanwo-Olu said the complex, which has been in development for several years, is now nearing completion.

Addressing the public, he explained that the project is a three-block development that includes an eight-storey building and is expected to be completed within the next two to three weeks.

He noted that the facility is designed to house several government agencies in one location, therefore improving collaboration among ministries, departments and agencies of the Lagos State Government.

The governor added that the complex will provide modern office spaces for public servants and create a better working environment.

Sanwo-Olu also highlighted the importance of the E-GIS building within the complex indicating that the facility will support administrative solutions and enhance the delivery of government services.

The governor further revealed that the government is working hard to ensure the project is ready ahead of a possible presidential visit to the state even though the exact date can not be ascertained currently.

According to reports, the project was first conceived around 2012 during the administration of former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola and was initiated to reduce office space challenges while improving efficiency among government agencies.
