Lagos Neighbourhood Corps recovers missing teenager in Ikosi Ejinrin

The officers of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Ikosi-Ejinrin Command, have recovered a missing teenager identified as Master Akor Thankgod, aged 17.
Thank God who is a native of Ogala, Kogi State, was found wandering aimlessly around the community, with no clear sense of direction or destination.
LNSC made this known in a post on its official Facebook page.
The Agency said upon questioning, Master Thankgod disclosed that he had been residing in Shagamu, Ogun State, under the care of one Mr. Akor Arome Godwin.
Thankgod further stated that he left Shagamu two days earlier under unclear circumstances, hinting at physical abuse.
According to LNSC, its officers promptly activated safety protocols and began efforts to trace his family members.
“Their search was significantly aided by a concerned citizen, Mrs. Lucky Patient, a resident of Shagamu Road, Agbowa-Ikosi, and also a native of Igala, Kogi State.
“Through her assistance, contact was established with Mr. Moses and Mrs. Aladi, who are close relatives of the missing teenager.
“It was confirmed that Mr. Akor Arome Godwin had earlier informed the family about Master Thankgod’s disappearance. Later that evening, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Mr. Moses Ameh—the husband of Master Thankgod’s elder sister, Mrs. Aladi Akor—arrived from Agege, Lagos.
“The boy was formally handed over to him in the presence of Mrs. Lucky Patient, who served as a witness to the safe reunion.The family expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the LNSC officers and all who contributed to the successful recovery and reunion”, said LNSC.
