According to Mrs. Adelabu, the MoU will introduce advanced technology and modern infrastructure into Lagos State’s parking landscape. She explained that the deployment of both parking management software solutions and enforcement software and hardware applications by Automata and i-Cell respectively is a key component of the state’s comprehensive plan to improve parking culture, reduce indiscriminate parking, and enhance traffic flow.

She noted that the newly introduced parking management and enforcement solutions will not only transform current processes but also significantly improve on-street parking operations across the state.

Enumerating the benefits of the initiative, Mrs. Adelabu highlighted enhanced planning for smoother movement, real-time knowledge of parking locations, the ability to book available parking slots remotely, reduced harassment of motorists by touts and illegal operators, and support for Lagos’ vision of sustainable urban mobility.

She urged motorists and residents to comply with state parking regulations, stressing that LASPA remains resolute in the actualisation of its mandate to ensure order and efficiency in Lagos’ parking system.
