Lagos pilgrims board seeks partnership with CLAM on spiritual development

The Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board has expressed readiness to deepen collaboration with faith-based institutions to enhance the pilgrimage experience and spiritual growth of intending pilgrims from the state.

The pledge was made during a courtesy visit by the Board Secretary, Dr. Okudero Gbolabo Omoniyi, and his team to the headquarters of the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM) in Omole, Lagos.

Dr. Okudero said the visit marked an important step in building stronger ties with CLAM and other religious bodies, stressing that the Board was committed to promoting moral values and spiritual upliftment among Christian pilgrims.

“We are delighted to strengthen our ties with CLAM and explore ways to promote moral values and spiritual growth among Christian pilgrims from Lagos State,” he said.

Responding, the Founder and Presiding Pastor of CLAM, Pastor Wole Oladiyun, welcomed the Board’s gesture and pledged the church’s support for initiatives that foster the spiritual life of Christians in Lagos and beyond.

“We appreciate the visit and reaffirm our commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift the spiritual life of Christians in Lagos State and beyond,” he said.

“We look forward to working closely with the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board to promote spiritual growth and development among pilgrims.”

The discussions focused on areas of mutual interest, particularly in pilgrimage coordination and the promotion of moral values among Christians.
