LASG averts danger at Isolo

Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service on Tuesday averted a looming danger from a gas truck accident at Peter Agha Street Junction by the Memorial Arcade, Oke Afa, Isolo, in Lagos State.
Spokesman for the Fire Service Ogbabi Olajide, in a statement said an 8 tonnes Liquified Petroleum Gas Peddler Truck swerved and skidded off the road causing leakage of its contents but the Isolo fire crew rescued the situation.
According to him, the firefighters deployed copious Chemical Foam Compound to neutralize the atmospheric condition of the area and that of the potency of the gas from causing any secondary incident.
The accident which did not record of any casualty has been cleared off the road to prevent traffic gridlock in the affected area, the statement added.
