In a similar vein, Mrs. Omololu, Head of Creativity and Innovation at OTCI, elaborated on the concept of mindset, explaining that for public servants to achieve transformational service, they must cultivate qualities such as flexibility, self-development, and perseverance which are hallmarks of a growth mindset.

Attendees at the event explored practical strategies for identifying and leveraging their inherent work strengths to foster continuous personal development. The training also addressed crucial aspects of administrative reforms, the impact of low-level corruption, and the imperative of embracing lifelong learning.

This initiative engaged 59 meticulously selected officers, focusing on the significance of reforms, the necessity of advocating for these changes, and the role of each officer as a reform champion, regardless of their specific Ministry, Department, or Agency (MDA).

From a pool of 167 candidates who underwent a rigorous screening process in December 2024, the 59 innovative and skilled officers were chosen based on their forward-thinking abilities.
