LASG integrates MACSI into workforce planning of 18 parastatals

The Lagos State Office of Transformation, Creativity & Innovation (OTCI) has integrated the MDA Assisted Creative Solution Initiative (MACSI) into the Workforce Planning and Recruitment Units of 18 parastatals.
According to the Head of Creativity & Innovation, OTCI, Mrs Muyiwa Omololu, the integration is designed to strengthen the units’ ability to identify, attract, and retain top talent across various government ministries and agencies.
Omololu said “By utilising innovative strategies and tools, MACSI will facilitate the development of a more streamlined and effective onboarding process for newly deployed staff, ensuring that the workforce aligns with the strategic objectives of their respective entities and, by extension, the Lagos State Government”.

Some of the key objectives of the initiative include improving the induction and onboarding processes, job descriptions, internal deployment, implementing matrix and rotation strategies for effective workforce management, developing strategies to prepare future leaders within the civil service and alignment with the government’s needs by placing the right personnel in the right positions.
