LASG unveils MDA-assisted creativity solution initiative to enhance service delivery

The Lagos State Office of Transformation, Creativity & Innovation (OTCI), has announced the launch of the MDA-Assisted Creativity Solution Initiative (MSCSI).
The Director-General of OTCI, Mrs. Toyin Anjous-Ademuyiwa said the initiative aims to foster innovative strategies and tools designed to enhance creative processes within Human Resources across the Lagos State Public Service.
According to her, the MDA-Assisted Creative Solution Initiative is specifically crafted to address critical Human Resources (HR) challenges faced by various government ministries, departments and agencies.
She added “Key thematic areas of focus will include onboarding newly deployed staff, job role documentation, internal postings, staff performance monitoring, and succession planning support”.
The DG pointed out that the initiative will enhance HR practices, ultimately creating a more efficient and effective workforce.
The objectives include streamlining onboarding processes to develop a comprehensive programme for new employees, standardising job role documentation to ensure clear and consistent job descriptions, and facilitating internal postings through a “Matrix model” that promotes career mobility.
She stated “The initiative aims to improve performance monitoring by implementing effective performance management systems that provide continuous feedback while also supporting succession planning by identifying and preparing future leaders within the Lagos State Public Service”.
“This initiative will also highlight the significance of collaborative efforts in enhancing HR functions and sets a solid foundation for future initiatives across government entities”, she added.
The Director-General submitted that OTCI is eager to refine the narrative, laying the groundwork for ongoing improvements in public service delivery.
