‘Love alone isn’t enough’ — Frank Edoho reflects on second failed marriage

Popular Nigerian TV personality and host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Frank Edoho, has confirmed that his second marriage has ended.
Edoho made the revelation during an interview on the Tea With Tay podcast, where he candidly reflected on his struggles with marriage. “Maybe I’m not good at marriage, I must confess,” he admitted.
“The two women I had been married to are not my soulmates. The love of your life is different from your soulmate. The love of your life is the person who comes to your mind when you think of love. But your soulmate is someone who understands you even before you express yourself.”
Edoho’s first marriage to Katherine Obiang, an on-air personality, began in 2004 but ended in 2011 after seven years together.
He remarried three years later, tying the knot with Sandra Onyenuchenuya in April 2014. The union produced two children but has now also ended.
Offering more insight into the breakup, Edoho said, “I know that I went above and beyond for the two marriages. I carried my partner… I can abandon everything for her. But you don’t blame them for falling out of love with you.”
He compared his experience to that of former Brazilian football star Kaka, whose wife divorced him despite his being, according to her, “too good.” “It happens,” Edoho said, emphasizing that sometimes love alone isn’t enough to sustain a marriage.
