Makinde inaugurates new Olubadan palace

The governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has inaugurated the new palace of Olubadan of Ibadan.

The inauguration which took place on Wednesday, had in attendance some prominent Ibadan indigenes and personalities.

In a post on his X handle, the governor acknowledged the contributions of former governor Abiola Ajomobi to the construction of the palace.

“This evening, we commissioned the new Olubadan Palace in Ibadan. The event gave us an opportunity to acknowledge and thank everyone who made it possible including former Governor Abiola Ajimobi who started it, the former President of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Chief O. O. Bello, Chief Bayo Oyero, and all Ibadan indigenes who contributed to make the project a reality”, said Makinde.
