Makinde presents N678 billion budget to Oyo Assembly
Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde has presented a budget of N678 billion to the state House of Assembly for the fiscal year 2025.
Education received N145 billion, while infrastructure got N152 billion, the biggest chunk of the budget.
According to the governor, the budget aims to stabilise the economy so that Oyo State can implement the new minimum wage.
A total of N59 billion has been allocated to agriculture and health sectors.
Governor Makinde stated that efforts will be made to attract more investors to the state.
