Mama Rainbow reflects on 60 years of acting

Veteran actress and producer, Idowu Philips, popularly known as Mama Rainbow, has taken to social media to reflect on her 60 years in acting.

In a social media post, Philips reflected on her journey, describing it as 60 years of grace, passion, and dedication on stage.

In her words: “60 Years on Stage | 83rd Pictures.”

Continuing, she wrote: “What a journey it has been — 60 years of grace, passion, and dedication on stage, captured beautifully in my 83rd pictures.

“None of this would have been possible without an amazing team that brought this vision to life.

“This celebration is more than just a birthday; it is a tribute to my legacy, my strength, and the joy I have shared with many people over the years. Every step of the journey reflects a spirit vibrant, graceful, and full of life.”

The actress revealed that the first leg of the celebration will take place in Cairo, Egypt, from October 15 to 20, with a special performance by Fuji musician Saheed Osupa.

She added that the Canadian edition of the celebration will be held on October 24, featuring performances from Alabi Pasuma and other stars from the Yoruba film industry.
