Medical Director of National Orthopedic Hospital, Igbobi dies few months to retirement
The Medical Director of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Dr. Alimi Mustapha, has reportedly died.
A report by CKN Nigeria this Saturday morning, March 29, 2025, quoted an unnamed reliable source as confirmed his demise.
Although details surrounding his death undisclosed yet.
“Dr. Mustapha, who assumed office as Medical Director eight years ago, was due for retirement in July.
“He was known for his contributions to orthopaedic medicine in Nigeria, leading the hospital in providing specialized care to patients with musculoskeletal disorders,” the report said.
Meanwhile, the hospital management has released an official statement regarding his passing.
