Mohbad: Police obtain warrant to detain Naira Marley, Sam Larry for 3 weeks
A Magistrate Court sitting in the Yaba area of Lagos State on Wednesday has remanded Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Music promoter, Balogun Eletu, known asSam Larry, to police Custody.
The Lagos State Police Command requested that Fashola and the others be remanded for 30 days pending the completion of their investigation.
However, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ruled that Fashola and the others be remanded for just 21 days.
WesternPost had reported that the Police declared Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, wanted over the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
The declaration followed Primeboy’s failure to honour an invitation sent to him by the Police since the commencement of the investigation into the circumstances leading to Mohbad’s death.
The Spokesperson for the Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this in a statement posted on his official twitter on Wednesday.
