Morocco 2025: Super Eagles to conclude qualifying campaign on Nov. 18

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Monday, November 18, for Nigeria’s final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

The Matchday 6 encounter will mark the conclusion of Group D’s race for slots at the 35th Africa Cup of Nations finals, set to take place in Morocco from December 2025 to January 2026.

CAF has also appointed Moroccan officials for the game, with Samir Guezzaz serving as the referee. The match will kick off at 5 p.m. Nigeria time. Guezzaz will be assisted by compatriots Zakaria Brinsi (assistant referee 1), Abdessamad Abertoune (assistant referee 2), and Kech Chaf Mustapha (fourth official).

Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana will serve as the match commissioner, while Somalia’s Ali Mohamed Ahmed will be the referee assessor.

For the Matchday 5 clash against Benin Republic at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on Thursday, November 14, scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Côte d’Ivoire time (8 p.m. Nigeria time), CAF has appointed Senegalese officials. Issa Sy will be the referee, assisted by Djibril Camara (assistant referee 1), Nouha Bangoura (assistant referee 2), and El Hadji Amadou Sy (fourth official). Ivorian Rene Williams Sere will act as the match commissioner, while Inacio Manuel Candido from Angola will serve as the referee assessor.
